The presence of large manufacturers in Colombia significantly boosts the growth of electric vehicles. The French brand Renault held the E-Tech Electric Days, where perspectives on mobility, technology and electrification were discussed.
The event highlighted Renault‘s pioneering role in the mobility market. In terms of electric mobility, it gave way to the introduction of four new 100% electric models in the Colombian market.
One of the brand’s flagship vehicles in the country is the 100% electric Master E-Tech, which not only offers efficient and environmentally friendly transportation solutions, but also promotes an accessible charging infrastructure and financial services tailored to the needs of customers.

Innovative Campaign
Recently, the brand launched a new advertising campaign “Renol” instead of Renault, using the colloquialism of the Colombian population.
This campaign had as main scenarios three cities: Medellin, Bogota and Santa Marta, showing the landscapes of the different regions of Colombia.
The announcement was made precisely after Renault revealed the arrival of four new 100% electric E-Tech models: Renault Kwid E-Tech, Megane E-Tech, Master E-Tech and Kangoo E-Tech.
With these launches and counting on the strength of market leadership for the fifth consecutive year, Renault stands as one of the key players for the massification of sustainable mobility.
A Big Bet
For several years, Renault has spared no expense in approving to boost electromobility.
Between 2020 and 2021, it invested more than $100 million in the plant to boost product engineering, process development, industrial capabilities, automation, training and supplier development.
As a result of these actions, during 2022, RENAULT-Sofasa ranked 18th among the 30 most innovative companies in Colombia.
