In line with its vision of promoting electric mobility through cutting-edge technology, Andes Motor, representing SANY in Chile, announced the arrival of the first emission-free machinery in its catalog. It is the front loader called SW956E, 100% electric, launched this year in the United States.
The SW956E exhibits features that make it optimal for construction and maintenance of roads, as well as shaping ore piles, among other tasks.
Its 282 kWh battery ensures up to six hours of work with only 60 minutes of charging and is supported by an energy recovery system, with an efficiency of close to 20%.
Great Attributes
According to Andes Motor, SANY provided the equipment with a formula that gives the power source a longer service life, thanks to its thermal management system.
Its frame design complies with the GB38031 standard: in case of collision and extrusion, the battery components will not be in danger of rupture, fire or explosion.

With an efficiency of 95%, the permanent magnet synchronous motor of the electric front loader deploys an instantaneous torque of 2,400 Nm.
Its intelligent on-board system can automatically adjust power output according to load or speed, as well as control its temperature. Its transmission is two-speed, with a simple structure, for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Maximum Safety
The motor, battery pack and electronic control system of the vehicle meet the IP67 degree of protection, i.e., maximum exposure to dust and one of the highest to water, capable of submerging up to one meter deep.
In addition, its monitoring application processes failure predictions to the manufacturer and real-time information to the customer, to ensure fully safe operation.
The SW956E electric front loader also provides a very low operating noise level, set at 18 dB. The cab is 10% lighter than its conventional rivals and is equipped with a large, durable glass panel to ensure a panoramic view. Comfort is provided by its ergonomic seat, air conditioning and heating.
Andes Motor‘s Machinery Manager, Patricio Giglio, expressed the company’s pride in having equipment with this level of technology, which provides greater efficiency, lower operating costs and more sustainable production processes.
“We are very pleased to be the first country in the region to incorporate this model, demonstrating the solid work of Andes Motor to adopt innovations in electromobility and promote them,” he said.
