Ecolab Selects Ford Pro to Power North American Electric Vehicle Fleet

Ecolab has announced a strategic partnership with Ford Pro to accelerate the electrification of its North American vehicle fleet, encompassing the addition of the Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E, two historic models in Ford’s electric vehicle lineup.

In this way, the relationship between Ford and Ecolab stretches back nearly a century, from joint efforts in water conservation at Ford facilities to the present day, where both companies share a common vision of corporate sustainability.

Ted Cannis, CEO of Ford Pro, expressed the importance of this partnership by stating, “Ford and Ecolab have worked closely for nearly 100 years, from water conservation at Ford to electrification at Ecolab. Together, we are proving that sustainability is good for the bottom line and the environment.”

The collaboration has focused on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Thus, Christophe Beck, President and CEO of Ecolab, highlighted the long history of collaboration and said, “Ecolab’s history is full of collaboration between like-minded companies committed to sustainable business growth.”

Furthermore, the joint initiative aligns with both companies’ commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, knowing that sustainability is a central pillar of Ford and Ecolab’s operations.

In fact, Ford has been a pioneer in implementing sustainable practices in its manufacturing, using water conservation technologies to significantly reduce water consumption.

With the support of partners such as Ecolab, it has saved more than 186 billion gallons of water since 2000, contributing to the availability of fresh water in local communities and fulfilling its aspiration to use only fresh water for human consumption.
