Only three months into 2024, Navitrans has already made its mark in the promotion of sustainable mobility and electromobility in Colombia. At the beginning of this year, the company delivered the first electric bus in Montería together with ZhongTong.
Navitrans highlights in its official website that it is a short, narrow bus that allows turning through narrow streets without any problem and configured with an autonomy that allows it to perform the routes it has established in the city to transport its passengers”.
The delivery not only represents a leap towards electric mobility in Monteria, but also sets a precedent for nearby coastal cities such as Sincelejo, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Valledupar and Cartagena.
The pilot project plans to gather crucial information on speed frequencies, travel times, user capacity and service demand, providing a solid basis for structuring customized mobility solutions for all of Colombia.
