Progress in Brazil

Recently, Brazil‘s Lower House passed a bill establishing a green innovation and mobility program called “Mover,” an initiative that provides for US$3.67 billion in financial incentives over five years, along with a reduction in the IPI tax on industrialized products.

One of the objectives of the legislation is to encourage research, development of technological solutions and the manufacture of vehicles and motorcycles with lower greenhouse gas emissions.

In addition, Brazil‘s abundance of natural resources, such as its extensive hydroelectric network, and a dynamic and growing renewable energy sector, offer an opportunity to continue diversifying the country’s energy matrix.
