João Abreu, Eletra’s after-sales manager, and Engineer Fernando Duarte, Quality Manager, traveled to Salvador to conduct a series of training sessions.
There, they focused on operational training for instructors and drivers, as well as specialized technical training for maintenance leaders.
It is worth noting that the BRT Salvador system has eight Eletra e-Buses of 12.5 meters in operation since September 2022 and one Eletra e-Bus of 15 meters in the testing phase since October 2023.

During the training, the system operators received all the technical and operational information about the electric buses.
This second phase of training focuses on their requalification, with the constant aim of improving operations. Thus, both operators and technicians will be better equipped to maximize the efficiency of the Eletra fleet.
In this way, the company offers a more committed team to provide comfortable, safe, and CO2-free public transportation, considering the importance of having a well-trained and committed team in the public transportation system.
The technical and operational training of operators and technicians ensures that Eletra’s electric buses operate optimally, reducing the chances of failures and improving the user experience.
