Blink Charging announced a strategic agreement with EVSTAR to introduce extended warranty coverage options for Blink customers.
This new optional extended warranty program aims to increase customer confidence and includes coverage for accidental damage, OEM connection issues, power surges and more.
In a press release, Blink notes that EVSTAR is a national renewable energy service and warranty administrator backed by a leading global insurance organization, bringing decades of electric vehicle technology service repair and warranty experience to Blink customers.

Mike Battaglia, Blink’s Chief Operating Officer, said the collaboration marks an important milestone in improving the reliability and longevity of charging solutions.
“With EVSTAR handling claims and scheduling repairs, our customers who purchase this extended warranty can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their EV infrastructure investments are better protected,” he explained.”
Blink says it has made continuous progress in developing initiatives to increase charger availability and reliability.
With this extended warranty, customers can avoid out-of-pocket expenses for eligible claims, even if the charging station requires complete replacement, repairs, de-installation or re-installation within the 5-year warranty period.
Blink maintains that, for eligible claims, this comprehensive extended warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures, normal wear and tear, accidental damage and power surges, allowing customers to focus on expanding their electric vehicle charging networks without the hassle of managing repair logistics.
