Porsche and Sustainable Mobility Go Hand in Hand in Mexico

Porsche has ambitious goals for electrifying its fleet through “Road to X,” a term referring to the path toward a future where combustion-engine cars will be surpassed by electric ones.

As a driving force behind sustainable mobility, Porsche has been a pioneer in the transition from hybrid to electric vehicles, a challenge that is evident in the Mexican market, where the company has long been leading the way in electrification.

According to Porsche’s estimates, this shift could occur in Mexico by 2025 or 2026, with a balance of 50% fully electric cars and 50% combustion-engine cars in its lineup.

Porsche in the Market

One of the German brand’s “sustainable tools” in the market is the fully electric Porsche Macan, a model designed to be more accessible and expand the company’s reach in the electric vehicle segment.

This model will be key to establishing the goal of having 85% of Porsche cars fully electric by 2030, along with other variants.

Additionally, it’s worth noting that all Porsche facilities worldwide are completely carbon dioxide neutral, a goal aligned with the industry’s trend toward decarbonization.
