Patricia Baires, Latam Business Development Manager of Blink Charging, highlighted that the company already has operations in 32 countries, 13 of them in Latin America and 85,000 charging points worldwide.
“We are a vertically integrated company, we own the technology, which allows us to bring customers what they need for the operation, we generate detailed reports on how many kilowatts they have dispensed, recharge data and optimize their operation,” explained the executive.

Baires emphasized that Blink Charging’s technology and its different charging areas allow customers to grow and expand the electromobility ecosystem.
She emphasized that the system does not only have to be home charging, but can be seen on roads where fleets also benefit and optimize their operations.
Referring to the benefits of the commercial use of chargers, Baires detailed that 89% of drivers make purchases while they are in establishments in order to make this recharge.
In addition, the Blink executive pointed out that 28% of drivers use public chargers on a weekly basis and 84% of electric vehicle users choose brands that have charging stations and are committed to sustainability.
Commercial Use Benefits
At the Latam Mobility meeting, Baires pointed out the benefits of using chargers in commercial establishments. He explained that it allows to generate additional income to monetize the recharge, attract new customers, generate loyalty, among others.
In the case of exclusive benefits for fleets, Blink highlights that it reduces maintenance costs by up to 50%, presents a 70% reduction in fuel use if electric fleets are used and 73% of consumers are willing to better compensate companies that offer sustainable products.
Regarding the steps to install chargers, Blink Charging offers complete advice to take care of customers, guiding them on what type of payment option suits them through its platforms so that establishments have control of payments for use.
Likewise, Baires pointed out that it is very important to know the type of connector for the charging protocol, which depends on the types of vehicles that are circulating.
To conclude his presentation, Baires reaffirmed Blink’s commitment to continue investing in Latin America with strategies and tropicalization depending on each country and its legislation.
