Porsche Taycan Electric Upgrades Now Available in Latin America

Porsche presented a comprehensive update of the Taycan, its first fully electric vehicle. This model comes with significant improvements in power, autonomy, and speed, accompanied by a renewed design.

The German brand details that it introduced substantial changes in all variants of the Taycan and launched them to the global market a few months ago.

The updates are already available for Latin American markets and incorporate the latest generation of Porsche Driver Experience, which includes advanced customization, full digital representation, and intuitive handling.

This system elevates the driving experience in a vehicle designed for both high performance and everyday practicality.

Features

Porsche details that the Taycan boasts faster acceleration, reaching 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, beating its predecessor by 0.4 seconds. The base model achieves this mark in 4.8 seconds, improving by 0.6 seconds.

The sedan version with Performance Plus battery offers a range of 678 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle, 175 kilometers more than the previous generation.

With up to 320 kW of power at DC fast-charging stations, the Taycan reduces its charge time from 10 to 80% to less than 18 minutes, a marked improvement over the previous model’s 37 minutes.

The rear electric motor is now 80 kW more powerful and 10.4 kg lighter, while the Performance Plus battery has increased its gross capacity to 105 kWh, up from 93 kWh previously.

In addition, the recovery power in decelerations from high speeds has increased from 290 kW to 400 kW, optimizing energy efficiency.
