Through a key alliance between the companies Vibra and EZVolt, the first 100% electric charging station was opened in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. It is the first in the country to offer ultra-fast chargers in an environment designed exclusively for charging cars using electricity.
The station begins operations following an agreement signed with “99”, a technology company focused on urban mobility, which will offer the application’s partner drivers a suitable place to charge their cars.
The partnership comes at a time when EZVolt begins to integrate the Alliance for Sustainable Mobility, an initiative led by 99 to promote electric vehicles in Brazil, including its energy supply infrastructure.

Power and User Experience
The center is equipped with the fastest public charger in Sao Paulo with 200kW of power, allowing passenger vehicles, as well as electric buses and trucks, to be recharged with maximum efficiency and speed.
While waiting, users can stay in a refrigerated room with sofa, TV and wifi. For professional, fleet or app drivers, there is also an outdoor area suitable for rest and meals, in addition to restrooms.
The station is operated by EZVolt, which will provide recharges that can be made and paid through the company’s app, using credit card and Ticket Car.

Gustavo Tannure, CEO of EZVolt, a startup that received investment from Vibra earlier this year, highlighted that this is only the first of a series of new stations to be inaugurated.
“EZVolt has grown exponentially and is a leader in the segment thanks to our performance capabilities. More than that: we anticipate the solution to our customers’ needs, delivering an electric station with recharging capacity and added services that, perhaps, would still take a few years to be realized by the competition,” he said.
For his part, Bernardo Kos Winik, executive vice president of commercial B2B at Vibra, emphasized that electromobility is gaining a lot of importance in the logistics of companies and this is going to be increasingly felt in Brazil due not only to public policies, but also to social awareness.
“We will be leaders in vehicle recharging infrastructure, with a robust structure at the service of our customers, this is only the first of the 100% electric stations that we will inaugurate,” he said.
Along the same lines, Thiago Hipólito, Innovation Director of 99, indicated that the arrival of EZVolt to the Alliance gives even more robustness to the project, which already has 12 other companies. “It is a strategic partnership for the development of charging infrastructure, a fundamental factor in the democratization of access to electric vehicles,” he said.
