Andes Motor and Divemotor Sign Partnership with CATL

Andes Motor and Divemotor took a significant step forward by announcing a key partnership with leading global battery manufacturer CATL.

The main focus of this collaboration is to provide reliable after-sales support and warranty in the transition to electric vehicles in the region.

According to the Chilean portal Rumbo Minero, the benefits of this alliance include the strengthening of Divemotor and Andes Motor’s integral value proposition in the market. In addition, it will generate economic income through after-sales services and warranty management of CATL batteries.

Specialized Service

As CATL representatives, Divemotor and Andes Motor will respond directly to any battery warranty issues.

In addition, they will offer preventive and corrective maintenance services for CATL batteries. Likewise, as Authorized Service Agents, with technicians trained and evaluated by CATL, they will have battery diagnostic tools and availability of spare parts in stock.

José Luis Torres de la Piedra, Divemotor’s New Technologies Manager, highlighted that the strategic alliance with CATL represents an important milestone.

“Our goal is to provide a positive signal to the market and address customer concerns regarding after-sales support and warranty in the transition to electric vehicles,” he said .

He stressed that being service agents for the world’s largest battery manufacturer is a strong response to allay any fears and promote the adoption of electric mobility in Peru.

“We are committed to offering a complete ecosystem to make the aforementioned transition frictionless, which translates into comprehensive and reliable support in this exciting new era of the automotive industry,” added de la Piedra.
