The Ministry of Economy of Argentina has launched the Sustainable Mobility Program, an initiative to promote the transition towards more eco-friendly transportation in the country.
Its main objective is to facilitate access to preferential financing for the acquisition of electric vehicles and other related technologies.
The plan includes the possibility of financing the purchase of electric bicycles and scooters, as well as electric vehicles and CNG vehicles (compressed natural gas), aligning with policies aimed at reducing carbon emissions and promoting clean energy.

The program also covers financing for the installation of charging stations and the acquisition of energy efficiency equipment, essential elements for developing a sustainable infrastructure.
Additionally, the Banco de la Nación Argentina will be the primary institution responsible for offering the financing lines, allowing consumers to access these products with more favorable credit terms.
With this measure, the government aims to encourage the adoption of cleaner technologies and reduce dependence on fossil fuels, thus contributing to the fight against climate change.
Finally, through the Sustainable Mobility Program, Argentina’s goal is to improve traffic, ensuring that everyone can move more quickly, safely, and in an orderly manner within cities, while also promoting a better environmental quality.
