On its way to establish itself as one of the leading companies in charging infrastructure on a global scale, Autel Energy is planning its next launches in Latin America.
Jary Guerra, Sales Director in Latin America at Autel Energy, revealed to the Latam Mobility team that they are in a planning and evaluation phase to introduce the MaxiCharger DCHiPower in the region.
“We are analyzing local markets and infrastructures to determine the best locations and opportunities for the implementation of our high-power chargers,” the executive said.
He detailed that the expansion will be carried out strategically to ensure a high-quality service that is tailored to the specific needs of each market.
High Technology
Guerra highlighted that the MaxiCharger DCHiPower stands out in the high-power charger market for attributes such as High Charging Power, as it provides significantly high power, which enables much faster recharging, especially crucial for heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks that require efficient charging to operate without prolonged interruptions.
It also features advanced technology by integrating the latest technology in power management and cooling, optimizing the charging process and ensuring longer equipment durability.
Efficiency and reliability are other key features, as it is designed to withstand extreme conditions and intensive use. In that sense, the DCHiPower ensures reliable and efficient charging, minimizing downtime.
Additionally, the equipment features an enhanced user interface with a system that includes intuitive user interfaces and advanced remote management functions, facilitating monitoring and management of the charging infrastructure.
“These aspects differentiate the MaxiCharger DCHiPower from the competition, positioning it as a preferred solution for those who require high-speed and reliable charging,” said Guerra.
Possible Destinations
When asked about its expansion plans, the Autel executive said that, in the medium term, they are mainly focused on Brazil and Mexico.
“These countries have shown great potential for the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure due to their market size, growth in electric vehicle adoption and need for robust charging solutions,” he stressed.
“In the long term, our strategy includes expansion into other countries in Latin America. We are evaluating additional markets in the region that could benefit from our charging solutions, and we are working on building strategic partnerships and tailoring our offerings to specific local needs. The goal is to establish a strong and reliable freight network that supports the transition to more sustainable mobility throughout the region,” he explained.
Guerra reported that Autel has signed agreements with several local and international companies in Brazil and Mexico.
“These agreements include partnerships with freight infrastructure operators, distributors and government entities, which allow us to collaborate closely in the implementation and expansion of our freight solutions in these key markets.”
Transportation Insight
Regarding its contribution to the decarbonization of the transportation sector, Guerra assured that Autel is committed to continuous improvement and innovation to support the decarbonization of transportation.
He specified that its upcoming innovations include advances in design and power, through the development of improved versions of its chargers, with increases in charging power and improvements in energy efficiency to offer a better experience to its users.
They also focus on integrated solutions with advanced technologies to optimize charge management and facilitate integration with renewable energy systems.
Along the same lines, they are working on collaboration initiatives with key players in the region to implement pilot projects and studies that demonstrate the benefits and effectiveness of their technologies in the Latin American context.
“These initiatives are aligned with our goal of supporting the transition to cleaner and more efficient mobility throughout the region,” said Guerra.
Major Challenges
Guerra noted that the transition to more sustainable mobility faces several major challenges such as the adaptation of electric vehicles to the market. “As consumers and businesses adapt to electric mobility, it is essential that the charging infrastructure expands in parallel to meet the growing demand.”
Another challenge is the charging infrastructure. “Building and expanding adequate charging infrastructure is a significant challenge. It requires investment and planning to ensure that there are sufficient charging stations available, accessible and efficient to support the growing fleet of electric vehicles.”
Along the same lines, the Autel executive points out that the costs and accessibility of charging infrastructure for different regions and communities are also challenges that must be addressed to ensure that the transition is inclusive and effective.
“Overcoming these challenges is key to achieving a successful transition to more sustainable mobility and maximizing the environmental and economic benefits of electric vehicles,” he emphasized.
He assured that the reception of Autel’s products by users has been exceptionally positive. “At Autel, we pride ourselves on offering products that combine high quality, advanced technology and innovative design.”
Satisfactory User Relations
“The feedback we have received highlights: Satisfaction with Quality: Our users appreciate the robustness and reliability of our products, which are designed to meet the most demanding standards,” he pointed out.
Autel’s customers also consider the products to be technologically innovative and value the advanced features that facilitate a superior user experience and contribute to more efficient load management.
They also highlight the design and usability of the chargers, describing them as intuitive and aesthetically pleasing.
“We are committed to continue listening to our users and improving our offerings to maintain and exceed their expectations,” concluded Guerra.
