Robust Growth Focused on Electrification

In parallel, BorgWarner released its fiscal year 2025 financial results, demonstrating significant progress in its electrification strategy and solidifying its role as a key player in the automotive industry’s technological transition.

According to the official report, revenues from light electric vehicle and hybrid systems products grew approximately 23% in 2025 compared to 2024, driven by strong global demand for hybrid and electric propulsion technologies across regions such as Europe and Asia.

Growth in the electric product segment, known as eProducts, was a primary driver behind BorgWarner’s improved adjusted operating margin of 10.7%, up 60 basis points from 2024, underscoring the profitability and efficiency of its comprehensive strategy.

Beyond expanding its electrified portfolio, BorgWarner secured a record number of contracts with automakers for both conventional and electric products, positioning the company for continued profitable growth.

These agreements include integrated propulsion modules, battery management systems, and other advanced technologies for hybrid and electric vehicles.

Innovation and Technological Diversification

BorgWarner’s vision extends beyond vehicle electrification. In 2025, the company secured a contract to supply modular turbine generator systems for AI-powered data centers and microgrid applications, with expected sales exceeding US$300 million in the first production year, starting in 2027.

This strategic expansion into flexible, lower-carbon energy solutions complements BorgWarner’s focus on electromobility and demonstrates how the company is diversifying its technological capabilities to meet the growing demands of advanced energy systems.

BorgWarner’s 2025 performance, both in electric product growth and global corporate recognition, reaffirms its central role in transforming the automotive industry toward cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable solutions.

Inclusion on Fortune’s 2026 list reflects not only the company’s strong results but also its commitment to responsible business practices, technological innovation, and talent development amid a global energy transition.

By expanding its presence in electrified technologies and exploring new applications for its core capabilities, BorgWarner continues to strengthen its influence in automotive and technology markets, consolidating its leadership in electromobility and advanced propulsion solutions with global impact.
