The Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, met with Stella Li, General Director of BYD in Latin America, to announce the sale in Mexico of the Dolphin Mini electric vehicle, which is classified as one of the most economical.
The regional president informed that the car is already on sale in Mexico and will be the most economical electric car. “It is really cheap for an electric car and it also has a lot of capacity, it is a car that is currently on the list of the most important in the world”, he assured.
This electric car model from BYD has an estimated value between 358,800 pesos and 398,800 Mexican pesos.

Electromobility Growth in the Region
BYD and the government stated that one of the objectives of the meeting between García and Li is to consolidate the state as an electromobility hub.
The government of Nuevo León assured that this meeting allows to know the company’s plans for the state and the country. Likewise, it was confirmed that the electric car manufacturing company is creating trucks of the same model for the State.
“I am very happy, we continue to consolidate our position as an electromobility hub,” García emphasized.
BYD is present in five continents and has 220,000 employees, and has set a record by selling a total of 526,000 vehicles in the last quarter.
