Important incentives from the public sector are encouraging private multinational companies to invest in plants and technologies for the manufacture of electric vehicles.
In this sense, the Canadian company Avvenire Electric Vehicles Corp seeks to become a world leader in the electrified car market by developing the next generation of cutting-edge, cost-effective and environmentally sustainable line of holistic transportation solutions for daily use.
The Vice Governor Rubén Dusso, in charge of the Executive Power, received at the Government House representatives of the brand dedicated to the development of low-emission cars.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Governor, Aldo Baiocchi, Robert Abenante, owners of the company, and Sebastián Caria, Secretary of Industrial Policy of the Province.
During the meeting, which was a continuation of the meeting held with the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment, Lisandro Álvarez, the possibility of locating the company in the province was discussed.
In this sense, it was informed that the provincial government offered the businessmen a series of benefits for their installation, together with a place in the Industrial Park El Pantanillo to establish the production plant.
The Province will also have the commitment to provide skilled labor so that the company’s production is up to its quality standards.

Incentives
In addition to the recent regulation presented in the Argentine Congress for the production of electric vehicles, the Association of Automotive Manufacturers will soon announce a new one to encourage foreigners to invest in the production of electric vehicles in the country.
The guild will soon present a sustainable mobility project to overcome the lack of incentives and the issue of infrastructure related to energy generation, transportation and distribution.
These aspects influence future investments because it is difficult to think about manufacturing electric cars without an adequate charging infrastructure.
Argentina is still not very advanced in terms of electric vehicles compared to other countries in the region. The country produces about 530,000 cars per year, while Brazil manufactures more than 2,000,000 and Mexico about 4,000,000.
