BYD Chile and Duoc UC have signed an agreement to promote electromobility. The goal of this partnership is to train students and develop experts in electric vehicle technologies.
Through this initiative, both organizations commit to providing cutting-edge tools and specialized resources to train highly skilled technicians.

The Role of Academia
Romina Cayumil, Director of the School of Engineering and Natural Resources at Duoc UC, highlighted the significant impact of this collaboration on students.
“The topic of electromobility and sustainability is very important to us. It’s something that drives us as an institution, part of our strategic plan and daily work,” she said.
“We are very grateful for the trust placed in us, and we know the impact will be enormous. That fills us with pride,” she added.
Diego Ortiz, Head of After-Sales at BYD Chile, emphasized the importance of this initiative: “The idea was to change the paradigm and the fear technicians have about working on our cars.
We finally reached this agreement, which is just the beginning of what lies ahead. We need to keep providing more knowledge.
