Circontrol presented its latest addition to the Raption series: the new Raption Compact 80. This new DC fast charging station for EVs joins the recently launched Raption Compact 240 and Raption Compact 160.
The company details on its official site that this compact-sized fast charger up to 80 kW combines 80 kW fast charging with simultaneous 40 kW charging.
“Its extra power, compared to other solutions on the market, can have a significant impact in urban and intercity environments,” Circontrol assures.

High Range
Circontrol explains that the 80 kW power is suitable for different market segments, such as service stations, shopping malls, fleets, car dealerships or public charging infrastructures.
The new Raption Compact 80 can charge up to 80 kW and 266 A in Boost mode on a single vehicle, regardless of the EV voltage.
In addition, its simultaneous charging, which divides the available power into 40 kW per connector, provides extra versatility for both EV charger owners and users, allowing up to 80 km to be charged in 10 minutes.
The Raption Compact 80 offers an all-in-one modular architecture, with its high-efficiency power integrated inside the charger. As with the entire Raption series, this configuration has several advantages for EV charger owners, including easier and more cost-effective installation and maintenance.
The new Raption Compact 80 benefits from the enhanced user experience of the new Raption range, which is also present in the Raption Compact 240 and Raption Compact 160 ultra-fast charging stations.
These enhancements offer a durable and easy-to-read 15-inch touchscreen display in daylight (1800 nits brightness) thanks to its WLED technology. In addition, the display has been designed to prevent vandalism by applying IK10 (mechanical resistance rating).
