Circontrol presents important improvements to its eVolve Smart semi-fast electric vehicle charger.
The new update has new features in cybersecurity, electrical protection, communications and software, highlighting its new integrated contactless payment system.
Through its official website, Circontrol has focused its efforts on presenting a product easily adaptable to the technical and legislative needs of various countries and customers, especially those referring to the various European legislations.
International Regulations
Circontrol considers it essential to offer solutions that meet the various needs of both electric vehicle users and charge point owners.
In that sense, one of the main improvements of the eVolve Smart concerns a new contactless payment system with its cloud-based software.
The solution allows users to pay for the charging session without the need for a registration process. The enhancement not only simplifies the process, but also plays a crucial role in promoting electromobility across the continent.

In addition, the innovation makes long-distance travel in electric vehicles more accessible. Using a cloud-based system, the payment device can be easily adapted to the needs of the charger owner, with just a software update.
The new version of Circontrol‘s AC charging post also offers, as optional devices, specific safety protections required in different European countries, such as the PEN Fault device for the UK or the NF device for France. In addition, a welded contact detector has been included as standard.
In line with specific European legislations, the new eVolve Smart pole complies with the German Eichrecht Calibration Act, guaranteeing that the exact amount of energy is billed and ensuring that the charging point data has not been altered by third parties.
