Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, in collaboration with Volvo Trucks, is working together to operate long-haul, fully electric heavy-duty trucks from its plant in Valencia.
By doing so, Coca-Cola and Volvo reinforce their commitment to sustainable mobility by transitioning to electromobility in heavy-duty freight transportation. The vehicles in use are Volvo FH Electric trucks, equipped with 3 electric motors.
These trucks integrate Volvo’s I-Shift transmission, reaching a combined maximum mass (MMC) of up to 44 tons, an instant motor torque of up to 2,400 Nm, a power output of up to 540 kW, and a total energy storage capacity of 540 kWh.

Sustainable Transport Measures at Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has set the goal of becoming a carbon-neutral company across its entire value chain by 2040, aiming to make the logistics supporting its business as sustainable as possible.
“The use of these electric trucks for transporting our beverages represents a further step in our strategy to achieve sustainable logistics, allowing us to advance our commitment to being a carbon-neutral company across our entire supply chain by 2040,” said Daniel López Bárcena, Logistics Director Iberia at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
“Partnering with companies like Ontime and Volvo enables us to make progress toward this goal and demonstrates how essential company alliances are in this effort. This is a step we plan to continue exploring in the short and medium term to, as members of the EV100 Alliance, achieve a fully electric fleet by 2030,” he concluded.
