About SENA

The Industrial Center, currently called Industrial Technological Design Center, began its work in 1961 in Cali, being the first and largest Training Center in the Valle region, with metal-mechanical programs, construction, clothing, leather, electricity and some of the mobile, rural and urban programs.

As of 2015, a new stage begins for the Center, as it moves to a new headquarters in the District of Aguablanca, with improvements in its infrastructure, responding to the requirements of the community, having a greater geographical coverage of SENA in the city and generating a greater social impact.

In this new headquarters, the Industrial Technological Design Center, in addition to offering training programs, integrates other institutional services such as the Public Employment Service, Certification of Labor Competencies, Articulation with the Technical High School and Entrepreneurship.
