Copec Partners and Invests in Optibus

Copec announced a strategic partnership and investment in Optibus, a comprehensive software platform for the planning and operation of more efficient and sustainable public transportation systems.

Optibus is present in 5,000 locations worldwide, including the Metropolitan Region of Chile, one of the pioneer locations in Latin America in implementing this system.

According to BN Américas, Optibus‘ comprehensive software platform helps improve bus services and the efficiency of the entire public transport network through a solution driven by artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms available in the cloud.

The system allows predicting the fulfillment of each trip, leading to better services and passenger experience, and becomes more agile in adapting to different plans, reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of transport systems.
