Daimler Truck Mexico and Trayecto have joined forces to launch a pioneering project in electromobility, as part of the beginning of a new era in freight transportation in the northern region of the country.
The centerpiece of this initiative is the eCascadia, a state-of-the-art all-electric truck that recently began operations. With its technology, 400 kilometer range, 438 kWh battery and 470 horsepower engine, it can carry up to 82,000 pounds of cargo.
On the other hand, the project also has robust charging infrastructure to back it up. Equipped with two Detroit eFill chargers, with 120 kW charging capacities, these devices are designed to optimize sequential charging, ensuring optimal efficiency and complying with the CCS1 + OCPP 1.6 standard.
