During “Latam Mobility North America 2026,” Delectrico, a pioneering Mexican company in comprehensive electromobility solutions, chose the stage at Auditorio San Pedro to make an announcement that marks a before and after in Mexico‘s transportation industry.
Accompanied by executives from FAZT, one of the country’s leading fast-charging infrastructure operators, Lorena Martínez, General Director of Delectrico, and Julio Hernández, Commercial Director, unveiled a strategic alliance poised to significantly accelerate fleet electrification across the nation.
The presentation, which took place during the first day of the summit, not only served to solidify Delectrico‘s position as a key player in the energy transition but also highlighted the importance of partnerships between the different links in the value chain to build complete ecosystems that make electric mobility viable and profitable.

Delectrico: Six Years Building Comprehensive Solutions
Lorena Martínez opened Delectrico‘s participation by recalling that the company is celebrating its third consecutive year taking part in Latam Mobility, an event it has seen grow and consolidate year after year. “For those who don’t know us, we are a company born six years ago with the idea of offering end customers a comprehensive solution for businesses looking to transition to electric transportation,” she explained.
The executive detailed that Delectrico has structured its offering into three business units that form a true turnkey project. The first is Delectrico Automotive, dedicated to the commercialization of three of the main Chinese commercial vehicle brands, rigorously selected after empirically verifying their suitability for the Mexican market.
The second unit is Delectrico Energy, which handles the electric charging infrastructure side, a component Martínez described as ‘crucial and essential.’ “We carry out custom projects ranging from all the management with CFE (Federal Electricity Commission), civil works, electrical works, with the intention of delivering not just a vehicle, but the complete solution that truly makes these initiatives successful,” she stated.
The third is Delectrico Service, developed over these six years of experience. The company has deployed more than 10 massive and fast charging points in strategic locations across the country, open to the public, with the goal of increasingly penetrating the Mexican market and making the transition much simpler.

The Transportes Marva Milestone
Julio Hernández took the floor to share Delectrico‘s most emblematic project: Transportes Marva. “In 2021, it began with its first fleet of 50 Class 8 electric tractor-trucks. Today that fleet has grown, and in 2023 it became the largest heavy-duty electric vehicle fleet in Mexico,” he recounted.
The growth didn’t stop. In 2025, Delectrico already operated the first 128 electric tractor-trucks, consolidating Marva as the largest electric fleet in all of Latin America. And the numbers continue to climb: “This month we are receiving 50 more tractor-trucks and by the first half of the year we will receive 200 units. This will make Marva one of the three largest fleets in the entire American continent,” Hernández announced.
To put the magnitude of this milestone in perspective, the executive pointed out that the largest electric tractor-truck fleets currently operating in the United States do not exceed 100 units.
Thanks to projects like those of Marva and Delectrico, Mexico is at the forefront of adopting zero-emission technology in the heavy-duty freight segment.
New Venture into Last-Mile Delivery
The keynote also served to introduce Delectrico‘s new foray into the last-mile market, a segment with enormous growth potential in Mexico. It involves a van with 13.4 cubic meters of volume and a payload capacity of 1.2 tons.
Julio Hernández highlighted several features that make this vehicle a highly competitive option. “Something very important that several clients have mentioned to us is the distance from the floor to the van’s access point, which is 52 centimeters, the lowest in its market. The door opening is also a significant advantage in the last-mile segment,” he explained.
In terms of range, the van offers 377 kilometers at 80% battery, with a charging time of 30 minutes. Currently available in a version with a Combo 2 connector, it can be adapted to any type of connector based on client needs.
Regarding safety, the vehicle incorporates advanced third-generation systems based on artificial intelligence. “It integrates proximity sensors that measure the trajectory of surrounding vehicles to avoid possible collisions. In terms of safety systems, it’s very advanced,” Hernández detailed.

The Big Announcement: Strategic Alliance with FAZT
At this point, Julio Hernández paused and announced that they wanted to use the keynote to share some special news. “The work, especially now that we are venturing into last-mile, can be achieved precisely through strategic alliances. We want to announce a strategic alliance with FAZT to reach more and more fleets that are considering this organic growth and want to carry out their first electric mobility initiatives.”
Immediately after, he invited the representatives from FAZT to the stage. Lorena Martínez spoke to formalize the announcement: “Today I am pleased to announce the strategic alliance between Delectrico and FAZT. This collaboration represents a firm step to accelerate the electrification of transportation in Mexico, integrating infrastructure, technology, and innovative energy models under a single vision. The transition to electric mobility does not depend solely on vehicles; it depends on complete ecosystems.”
“This alliance with FAZT allows us to integrate infrastructure, technology, and energy models under a single vision. At Delectrico, we are convinced that Mexico is ready to make a structural leap in transportation electrification. With this alliance, we reaffirm our commitment to innovation, energy efficiency, and development. We are very excited about what we will achieve together,” she added.
Ideal Partner for a Complete Ecosystem
The alliance with FAZT, a Mexican company specialized in the development, construction, and operation of fast and ultra-fast charging points, which recently deployed more than 100 points in partnership with Organización Soriana and plans to reach 1,000 by the end of the year, allows Delectrico to close the loop on the comprehensive solution they offer their clients.
While Delectrico provides the vehicles, after-sales knowledge, and operational experience gained from large-scale projects like Transportes Marva, FAZT contributes its charging infrastructure network in strategic locations, ensuring that electric vehicles can operate with the reliability and reach required by commercial fleets.
The synergy between both companies responds to a shared vision: transportation electrification cannot happen in silos, but requires collaboration from all ecosystem players to build solutions that are technically and financially viable.

A Forward-Looking Conclusion
With emblematic projects like Transportes Marva, and now with a new bet on the last-mile segment alongside FAZT, Delectrico is consolidating its position as a comprehensive partner for Mexican companies seeking to make the leap toward sustainable mobility.
The dialogue and announcements made at this summit are part of the efforts that Latam Mobility is promoting throughout its 2026 tour, which will visit the region’s main markets to delve deeper into these and other crucial issues for the transformation of mobility.
