The Denza Z9GT will lead the arrival of BYD’s premium brand in Europe.
Officially unveiled at Milan’s Brera Design Week, the model will be available in both fully electric and plug-in hybrid variants.
The Z9GT features a striking front end, smooth flowing lines, and large wheels that emphasize its premium character.
A 3D logo, integrated radar sensors, and active air intakes showcase a balance between elegance and advanced functionality.

Luxurious and spacious interior
Thanks to its Cell to Body (CBT) structure and the e3 Platform, the Z9GT has a flat floor and enhanced cabin height.
A 17.3-inch main screen and a 13.2-inch secondary display for the passenger offer an immersive infotainment experience.

e3 Platform: smart control and performance
Designed exclusively for Denza, the e3 Platform features:
- Independent tri-motor AWD system
- Rear-wheel steering with dual motors
- Intelligent motion control
- Integrated battery-to-body design (CTB)
Customers can choose between a fully electric powertrain or BYD’s Super DM plug-in hybrid system.
Performance and range
The all-electric version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just three seconds and delivers 630 km CLTC range with its 100 kWh battery.
Combined power output from its motors exceeds 800 horsepower.
The hybrid version includes a 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine and two rear electric motors, offering a balanced mix of power, efficiency, and extended range.
Launch date and European adaptations
BYD confirmed the Z9GT will hit European dealerships in Q4 2025.
Ongoing improvements will tailor the car to local market needs, including drivetrain optimization, storage capacity, tires, and range adjustments.
With this move, BYD positions Denza as a serious contender in Europe’s premium EV segment, blending innovation, performance, and refined aesthetics.
