DHL Supply Chain, one of the global leaders in logistics, has reinforced its commitment to sustainability in Latin America by announcing its plans to expand its electric vehicle fleet in the region.
The goal is to reach 1000 electric vehicles by next year, according to Juan Carlos Aderman, Vice President of Transportation at DHL Supply Chain, in an interview with Mobility Portal Latinoamérica.

Through its GoGreen program, DHL has adopted ambitious measures to reduce its carbon footprint. The company has set clear goals, such as reducing CO₂ emissions per package delivered and promoting the use of renewable energy in its facilities.
The goal of reaching net zero emissions by 2050 involves a coordinated effort across several areas, and the transition to an electric fleet in Latin America is an essential step in fulfilling this commitment.
“The green agenda includes electrification as a key pillar, but also integrates alternative fuels, such as natural gas, and monitoring tools like Total Visibility, which allows us to continuously improve service levels and the utilization of vehicles,” stated Aderman.
