Eletra Electrifies Transportation in Porto Alegre with Four Buses

The city of Porto Alegre, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, has incorporated four Eletra electric buses into its fleet, with the delivery of these new vehicles taking place in April during a ceremony at the City Hall.

During the event, Mecasul was also introduced, the first dealership in the southern region to offer technical assistance for Eletra vehicles. The delivered models measure 12.1 meters, have a low floor, capacity for 70 passengers, and a space for a wheelchair user, in addition to a range of 200 to 250 km.

All buses are equipped with air conditioning, wifi, and USB ports, while Sudeste Transportes will be the company responsible for operating them.
