Enel X has signed a commercial alliance with Omoda, a Chinese automotive brand known for its high-tech electric models, which aims to offer special prices and services on Enel X’s charger models available for the residential sector.
In a press release, Enel X details that among the outstanding solutions that will facilitate electric charging to customers with exclusive discounts, are included 3 types of chargers Waybox Residential, Waybox Pro and Waybox Plus + Waymeter, of which the latter have features that allow adjusting the power of the charger according to the energy capacity of the home.
In this regard, Renato Rivas, Director of Development (DND) of OMODA, stated that they are committed to promoting the sale of electric vehicles in the countries where they have operations.
“This agreement is one of the actions that will allow us to fulfill this purpose in Chile, as it will also allow us to facilitate the installation of chargers at our customers’ homes with competitive values, special financing conditions and all the experience that Enel X provides,” he said.

Agreement Details
Enel X details in its official press release that, as part of the agreement, discounts on electric vehicle accessories and basic installation services are included.
In addition, training will be provided for the sales team and after-sales support, along with 250kWh coupons for use in Enel X’s public charging network.
Jean Paul Zalaquett, Enel X’s Electric Mobility Manager for Latin America, highlighted that this partnership with Omoda marks a significant step forward in access to electromobility in Chile.
“Thanks to this collaboration, both old and new Omoda customers will be able to access a more efficient charging process through a wide range of residential charging products and services that ensure optimal use of technology and boost sustainability in Chilean homes,” he stressed.
The technological solutions that will be available as part of this agreement also include the Enel X Way App and RFID technology, which will facilitate an efficient and convenient charging process for users.

In August, Latam Mobility, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, will once again arrive in Santiago de Chile for its 2024 meeting.
It will be two days that will bring together the most prominent industry leaders, along with public sector personalities, to offer their perspectives on advances in low-emission mobility, electromobility and sustainability.
