Evergo was honored during the VI Edition of the European Union EPA Awards in the Innovation category. The event recognized eight outstanding companies for their significant contribution in leveraging the benefits of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the CARIFORUM countries and the European Union, strengthening trade relations between Europe and the Dominican Republic.
Since its launch in 2020, Evergo has played a key role in the implementation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean.
With a network of more than 1,000 public charging stations, Evergo has been a crucial catalyst for the transition to more sustainable mobility in countries such as the Dominican Republic, Panama, Jamaica, Aruba, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Wellington Reyes, Innovation Director at Evergo, noted that the recognition reaffirms Evergo’s commitment to innovation and driving sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“It fills us with pride to receive an award that highlights the Dominican talent to innovate and excel in this field. We will continue betting on the development of smart and sustainable cities, and leading with cutting-edge solutions the transition to electric mobility throughout the region and beyond,” he said.
In terms of innovation, the Evergo network offers two types of chargers: semi-fast level 2 and super-fast level 3, the latter pioneers in the Dominican Republic, driving the transition towards modern and sustainable automotive models.
In addition, it has a state-of-the-art technological system, created by 100% Dominican talent, which maximizes the user experience when using its chargers, providing facilities and advanced functions.
Evergo consolidates its link with the European Union by focusing on its expansion plan towards crucial markets, highlighting Spain as a key strategic point for the company.
In this context, Evergo has taken a significant step by installing a pilot charging point at Atocha station, Madrid, which is part of a ‘ferrolinera’ that uses the DC and AC rail networks to power electric vehicle charging points, promoting sustainability by recovering braking energy from trains.
