The German company Flix, recognized for its technology-driven model applied to intercity passenger transport, announced its arrival in the state of Puebla with the launch of a new route directly connecting to Mexico City.
This move represents another step in the company’s expansion strategy in the country, less than a year after starting operations in Mexico.
The new connection includes more than 600 monthly trips and fares starting at 89 pesos, aiming to provide an affordable and efficient alternative in one of the country’s busiest travel corridors.
The route responds to the strong daily passenger flow between the two cities, positioning itself as a competitive option compared to traditional bus services.

Focus on User Experience
According to Carlos Magaña, the company’s arrival in Puebla represents much more than the launch of a new route, as it aims to redefine the travel experience through technology and user-centered services.
Flix’s value proposition includes digital tools with real-time monitoring, as well as onboard services such as Wi-Fi, charging ports, and comfortable seating.
This is complemented by flexible ticket management, allowing passengers to modify their bookings according to their needs.
Passengers will be able to purchase tickets entirely online through the company’s app and website, while also having access to in-person service at its new ticket office in Explanada Puebla.

Accelerated Growth in the Mexican Market
Since entering the country, Flix has demonstrated rapid operational expansion. The company currently operates six active routes across four key regions: North, Gulf, Bajío, and Central Mexico.
Available connections include routes such as Monterrey–Torreón, Córdoba–Monterrey, and several lines departing from Mexico City to strategic destinations such as Aguascalientes, León, and Puebla.
Through this network, the company currently connects eight states, reaching 13 domestic destinations and more than 1,000 trips per month.
A key element of offering by Flix is its integration with Greyhound, enabling connectivity to more than 1,600 destinations across the United States and Canada. This partnership forms one of the largest intercity ground transportation networks in the continent.
Globally, the company operates in more than 40 countries, with a network exceeding 8,000 destinations. Its fleet includes over 5,000 buses, and since its founding in 2013, it has transported more than 500 million passengers.
