Rodrigo Sepúlveda, Manager of Buses and Vans at Andes Motor, expressed his satisfaction at being pioneers in the creation of this training center for the region, which will boost the development of specialized talent in Chile and benefit all of Latin America.

“At Foton, we are committed to providing the tools and knowledge necessary for more people to join us in our mission to build greener and smarter cities through sustainable mobility,” he said.

The new space has all the infrastructure and elements necessary for learning. The theoretical and practical course is divided into three levels, aimed at drivers, technicians and operators of electric bus fleets.

The classes will address key aspects such as diagnostics, disconnection of the high voltage network, repair and recognition of electrical components.

In addition, participants will be able to interact with a detailed model of one of the electric buses currently circulating in Santiago, called “Bus Escuela Foton”, which will allow them to learn about its characteristics in a didactic way.
