FOTON Mexico, one of the leading companies in the electric vehicle industry in Mexico, delivered the S3 EV electric unit to the company Arca in the city of Monterrey.
In a press release, the company highlights that the move represents a boost to both companies’ commitment to sustainability and environmental innovation.
FOTON details that the S3 EV electric unit is equipped with a state-of-the-art FTTB-064 AC Synchronous electric motor, capable of developing 154 hp.
In addition, offering a range of up to 225 km on a single charge and an energy consumption of 81.14 kilowatt hours, the electric S3 EV not only reduces the carbon footprint, but also provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for Arca’s mobility needs in the region.

FOTON stresses that the delivery of the unit “is a testament to the power of collaboration between companies to drive change towards a greener future. Both companies are committed to building a cleaner, more sustainable world, and this represents a significant step in that direction.”
The S3 EV will not only help the company achieve its sustainability goals, but will also serve as an example for other organizations in the region.
It is worth noting that the FOTON brand is represented in Mexico by LDR Solutions, with 24 official distributors of FOTON vehicles in the country and an assembly plant in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco.
The product portfolio includes: mini trucks, medium size trucks, heavy duty trucks and buses for passenger transportation in the public or private sector.
