FOTON Mexico announced an important collaboration with the Association of Women Operators (AMO) to offer a series of clinics specialized in the operation of electric vehicles.
The initiative aims to train women in the organization in the proper handling of electrified cars, so that they can get the best out of these vehicles in the freight transportation sector.
FOTON highlights in a press release that, under the slogan “Women Behind the Wheel: Leading the Change Towards Electric Mobility with FOTON“, these clinics seek to promote the interest and training of women drivers in the freight transportation industry, thus breaking paradigms in the industry.

Action Lines
The training will also address the importance of efficient driving of electric vehicles and their positive impact on the environment.
The Association of Women Operators (AMO), was born in 2021 with the objective of promoting the insertion of women in the trucking industry, taking care of them through various training actions, as well as the link between committees and authorities and to carry out activities in favor of women, with a philosophy where they feel protected and confident.
The AMO has worked to achieve its objectives, which will contribute to conclude this year with more than 250 graduated female drivers.
In addition, this initiative is especially relevant in the current context, as FOTON prepares to introduce a multiverse of technologies to the Mexican market, including natural gas, electric and even hydrogen vehicles.
Training women in the operation of these new technologies is essential to maximize their efficiency and profits along the way. At the same time, updating operators on the tools that are coming to the sector and that are at the forefront, in order to have a competitive advantage in the market.
Latam Mobility in Mexico
In October, “Latam Mobility: Mexico 2024” will be held at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, at a key moment for the development and promotion of new technologies that make up the sustainable mobility environment.
In Mexican territory, Latam Mobility closes the 2024 tour, in its efforts as part of the main networking and value generation network in Latin America, Invest in Latam, which includes initiatives such as Latam Green, in the field of sustainability, and H2 Business News, linked to clean fuels.
