Geotab is recognized as one of the leading proponents of sustainable mobility in Latin America and worldwide through its fleet management services, which significantly reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector.
In this regard, the company is committed to sustainability, regional growth, and seeking environmentally-friendly solutions. Pedro Giraldo, the company’s sustainability leader for Latin America, particularly emphasized Chile as an example for the region.
He conveyed this through an interview with Emol, where he revealed details about Geotab’s experience and perspective in the Chilean market.
Chile from Geotab’s Perspective
Latam Mobility, the continent’s leading sustainable mobility platform, shares Giraldo’s and Geotab’s vision regarding Chile. In fact, the Latam Mobility & Net Zero: Southern Cone 2024 event recently took place with the company’s executive participating in the meeting.
“It could be said that it is an organized and dynamic market that has set guidelines for the Latin American region in certain trends or technologies related to sustainability and electromobility,” Giraldo told Emol.
On the other hand, he mentioned that Chile is a market of great importance for Geotab with the aim of powering new initiatives, assessing the reception of the company’s entry there, and subsequently applying what has been learned to other countries.
“In Chile, we have had a presence for several years, and in fact, we have a network of distributors covering the entire country as an operational arm to support different industries in Chile,” Giraldo concluded.
