Geotab: Dipesa Group’s Key Partner to Reduce Over 130 tons of CO₂ per year

Geotab has a strategic partnership with Dipesa Group to improve the efficiency, sustainability and safety of the company’s vehicle fleet in Ibiza.

As a global leader in connected transport solutions, it has put its technology at the service of Dipesa’s main company on the island. Thanks to this alliance, Geotab‘s solutions have led to a remarkable 20% reduction in the fleet’s fuel consumption.

This has resulted in a reduction of 50,000 liters of fuel per year. This achievement has had a positive impact on the fleet’s carbon footprint, with a decrease of 132 tons of CO2 emissions on the island annually.

Geotab Boosts Sustainability for Businesses

The partnership has pushed Dipesa Group’s fleet sustainability to the next level through Geotab’s technology, empowering the client to conduct real-time monitoring of its drivers.

As a result, the company has been able to identify inefficient driving patterns, along with promoting more environmentally friendly driving practices.

“At Geotab, we are delighted to continue forming partnerships with key companies in the transportation sector in a strategic territory for tourism in Spain. Once again, we demonstrate the ability of technology to make a difference, transforming fleet management and moving towards a more sustainable and safer mobility,” says Ivan Lequerica, VP Southern and Western

On the other hand, this partnership has also had a significant impact on road safety, as Geotab’s technological solutions have managed to reduce traffic accidents by 10%.

In particular, the introduction of dashboard video cameras, specifically Lytx’s artificial intelligence-driven Surfsight AI-12 model, has facilitated the resolution of insurance-related issues and service claims.

Finally, these cameras have enabled more effective real-time monitoring of operations, which has further contributed to improved safety on the road.
