In order to further enhance its technology that keeps it as one of the leaders in fleet management and administration, Geotab has entered into a partnership that will add video monitoring to its operations.
It is a partnership with the connected vehicle CCTV specialist Mantis Live, which has experienced technical and engineering teams, and a platform that helps the smooth operation of companies in all industries.
Through the “Mantis with Geotab technology” tool, both companies provide high-end connected fleet data and unrestricted cameras.

Unprecedented Innovation
Mantis Live CEO, Matthew Vass, believes the union with Geotab has created a fully integrated solution backed by a “unique” evidence management platform.
“While our team has vast experience, we are not looking to become a telematics company. Instead, we are looking to partner with the world’s best telematics systems like Geotab to build deep integration with our camera services,” he explained.
He stressed that the result of the partnership is to provide the best video fleet management solution for all customers. “Our integration with Geotab will take things to the next level. A seamless and unrestricted camera experience backed by excellent customer service,” continued Vass.
For his part, David Savage, UK and Ireland VP at Geotab stressed that telematics data, backed up by video evidence, is the ideal combination to keep fleets safe on the road.
“Our telematics systems can detect when drivers make sudden braking or acceleration maneuvers and are a clear indicator of an incident on the road. The ability to back up that data with video is a perfect combination to provide the necessary evidence for insurance companies or police in the event of an accident,” he added.
Executives from both companies say the technology allows between one and 24 cameras to be connected to get a complete view of multiple such devices around the vehicle, and is also capable of providing connectivity, fault detection and backup.
