Honda Series 0: The New Generation of Electric Vehicles Debuts at CES 2025

At the CES 2025 held in Las Vegas, Honda has unveiled its new family of electric vehicles, called Series 0, which will hit the market in 2026.

This range includes two prototype models: the Honda 0 Saloon and the Honda 0 SUV, both developed on an entirely new platform that uses lightweight and durable materials to optimize performance and efficiency.

The Honda 0 Saloon is an electric sedan with a wedge shape and sporty proportions. Although the company has not disclosed specific technical details, this model is expected to become the flagship of Honda’s new generation of electric cars.

Meanwhile, the Honda 0 SUV is based on the Space-Hub prototype previously introduced by the brand. It features innovative design and interior spaciousness. The SUV integrates a high-precision stabilization and behavior estimation control system, powered by 3D gyroscopic sensors.

Honda Vehicle Batteries

Honda has announced that the batteries in the Series 0 will retain more than 90% of their capacity after 10 years of use. Additionally, these vehicles will feature an active aerodynamic system that automatically adjusts the deflectors based on speed.

On the other hand, it is worth noting that the company has invested €59 billion through 2030 for the development of this new generation of electric vehicles, aiming for all its sales to consist of electric vehicles by 2040.
