On August 4, several companies linked to the sustainable mobility sector will meet at Latam Mobility Day: Brazil, which will be held in Portuguese for Latin America.
Only in the first quarter of 2022, Brazil registered almost 10,000 sales of zero- and low-emission vehicles, ranking second only to Mexico, according to figures provided by the National Association of Sustainable Mobility (Andemos – Colombia).
On the other hand, the National Association of Automotive Vehicle Manufacturers (ANFAVEA) reported at the beginning of 2022 that Brazil has just over 1,250 charging points for electric vehicles.
These data reflect multiple opportunities and challenges to be addressed at the last virtual meeting of Latam Mobility in 2022, which will feature the outstanding participation of the President of Metro de Sao Paulo, Silvani Alves Pereira.
Agenda: EV Market Outlook, Infrastructure and Smart Mobility
Three panels with representatives of companies leading the transportation transition in Brazil and two keynote interviews will make up the Summit’s agenda.
The day begins with a panel entitled “Sustainable Mobility as an Ally of Brazil’s Decarbonization”, with the participation of representatives from the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI), the climate leadership group C40 Cities and Metro de Sao Paulo.
Next, the “Prospects for the EV Market in Brazil” will be discussed with the Account Executive LATAM of Wallbox Chargers, Lucas de Moraes, along with managers of major manufacturers in the sector.
Finally, the topic “Perspectives of Multimodality, Innovation and Mobility in Brazil” will conclude the day’s program, with the outstanding participation of Paulo Maisonnave, Head of Enel X Way Brazil, Eduardo Canicoba, Vice-president of Geotab Brazil, and Alexandre Pasquini, Brazil Country Manager of Autocab.
