McLaren’s First Convertible Hybrid to Arrive in Brazilian Automotive Market

McLaren is expanding its presence in the Brazilian automotive market with the launch of its first convertible hybrid, the Artura Spider, a model that debuted in 2021 and is now set to arrive in Brazil in the second half of this year.

Thus, this McLaren hybrid convertible offers performance, design and technology through the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine together with an electric power unit to reach 700 horsepower.

This results in an increase of 20 hp compared to the previous version. In addition, it offers 720 Nm of torque, while the 8-speed dual-clutch automated transmission offers a sporty driving feel.

In addition, this weight remains only 62 kg above the Artura coupe model. As for the open-air driving experience, the McLaren hybrid convertible offers a retractable roof with the ability to open to the sky at the touch of a button.

On the other hand, although the arrival of this model in Brazil has generated interest, prices have not yet been defined by UK Motors, the official representative and importer of McLaren models in the country.

Finally, when it becomes available in Brazil, it will be one of the sportiest and most imposing options that can be seen in the Brazilian automotive market, while contributing to the adoption of models with more environmentally friendly propulsion technologies.
