The Government of the State of Mexico, through the Secretary of Mobility, organized the “Electromobility Forum 2024” where they presented the challenges and opportunities to move efficiently and safely towards sustainable mobility in the Toluca Valley.
Daniel Sibaja González, Secretary of Mobility, stated that in the State of Mexico the foundations are being laid to move towards electromobility in an inclusive and integral manner, where no one is left behind and everyone participates to bring wellbeing to the people of the State of Mexico.
The official explained that an environmentally friendly, modern, efficient, and dignified mobility is a fundamental right accessible to all people and should be a vehicle to bring social justice to the people of the State of Mexico who were forgotten for decades.

Public Policy
In the presentation “Electromobility Policies in the State of Mexico”, she emphasized that the transition process towards electric mobility cannot be seen in isolation, it requires the participation of the State Government, municipal authorities, transportation companies, and businessmen.
Likewise, Candi Ashanti Domínguez Manjarrez, Executive Vocal of the Institute of Transportation of the State of Mexico (ITEM), indicated that for the first time an event was held where experts in mobility and electromobility shared the experience acquired in the transition process towards electromobility and how they solved the challenges to make electric vehicles efficient and profitable.
She assured that, with the transformation and modernization of public transportation, a window of opportunity opens up for transportation concessionaires and, with this type of event, the expectations of success become more and more real and the possibilities expand.
