Mexico City Adds a New Technological Charging Station
City Energy and Grupo Solarever, through their automotive brand SEV (Solarever Electric Vehicles), inaugurated their first charging station in Mexico City.
The innovative charging station marks the beginning of the national project that aligns with the National Electromobility Plan.
Guillermo Saucedo, CEO of City Energy, stated that the company’s mission is to build a solid ecosystem for electric mobility in Mexico, ensuring that every driver has access to clean energy in a practical, fast, and accessible manner.
The charging station project aims to accelerate the transition towards clean and efficient transportation in Mexico, providing a modern infrastructure that facilitates the adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
Features
The first inaugurated station currently has a total of 10 fast-charging units, with DC 30 kW and DC 60 kW, capable of supplying up to 180 electric vehicles per day, with a demand of 65%.
These chargers offer optimal charging times, facilitating efficient operation for users. Additionally, SEV chargers are designed to power vehicles with GBT connectors, expanding the compatibility and accessibility of the charging infrastructure in the country.
Juan Manuel Cerdeira, CEO of SEV, stated that with the inauguration of this charging station and the expansion of our charging network, they reaffirm their commitment to electromobility in Mexico and the promotion of domestic clean energy production.
