The nation faces the challenge of developing an industry around automotive electrification, and the new government of Claudia Sheinbaum has presented a plan with private sector support, as reflected in the recent formation of the Advisory Council for Regional Economic Development and Relocation (CADERR).
On November 27, Sheinbaum formally presented this council, which consists of 15 business leaders, with the goal of attracting investments and promoting development in key sectors like electromobility.
