The Instituto Tecnológico de Aguascalientes (ITA), Mexico will offer the Specialty in Electromobility starting next year.

Interest in Large Manufacturers
Gil stressed that the urgency of this initiative is due to the fact that Nissan, one of the main automotive companies in the state, challenged the institution to have graduates in electromobility within two years. This forces the ITA to act quickly and make strategic decisions to keep up with the industry’s expectations.
He pointed out that training professionals with knowledge in electromobility will not only benefit automotive companies, but will also contribute to a more sustainable mobility in the country, positioning Aguascalientes as a leader in the sector at a national level.
He commented that they are currently working on training the teaching staff for the implementation of this project. Some professors have already been sent to Japan and will soon travel to Singapore, in order to ensure that the ITA has the best human resources trained in the latest technological advances at a global level.
Gil announced that in the coming months the institution will host a national event of great relevance, where it will receive 200 rectors and directors of engineering schools from all over the country, focused on electromobility.
