The Ministry of Economy of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, announced that the state will have more foreign investment in the aerospace and electromobility sectors.
Through a press release, the public institution informed that the arrival of these companies will be in the medium term and that there is a lot of interest in Nuevo León.
“They are looking at our competitive advantages, at what we do better than other entities and at the reasons that lead companies to expand their operations in the state,” said Iván Rivas, Secretary of Economy.

Asia Tour
Rivas traveled together with the Undersecretary of Investment, Emmanuel Loo, and attended the Singapore Airshow, the largest fair in Asia, to learn about the latest in aerospace technology, as well as innovative processes of 27 leading companies in the sector.
According to local media Mexico Industry, they also met with the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Center (ARTC), which operates in alliance with Nanyang Technological University, and held meetings with ST Engineering, the world’s largest aircraft maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) provider.
Before 90 representatives of leading companies in Singapore, Rivas gave the seminar “Why Nuevo León is the best place to invest,” where he shared the key factors why companies choose the state as a destination.
Nuevo León officials met in China with companies such as Great Wall Motors, the country’s largest producer of utility vehicles and vans, and Yutong, which manufactures electric buses.
