Mexico: State of Guanajuato and Deloitte Present Electromobility Plan

The Automotive Cluster of Guanajuato, Mexico, in collaboration with the State Government and the firm Deloitte, announced the launch of an ambitious electromobility plan aimed at developing and strengthening the automotive industry in the region.

According to a Cluster Industrial publication, this project aims to position Guanajuato as a benchmark for innovation and competitiveness in the automotive sector.

The Electromobility Plan, explains the publication, seeks to identify priority development areas, highlighting the zones where investment is required to boost the industry’s growth.

It will also focus on talent development, establishing strategic lines for the training and updating of professionals in all areas of the automotive industry.

This includes both training new professionals and updating the skills of the current workforce, ensuring that they are prepared to face the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities of electromobility.

Another key area of the plan is technological absorption. New technologies will be implemented by all suppliers within the supply chain, a crucial measure to maintain competitiveness and efficiency in the automotive industry.

In an official statement, the Guanajuato Automotive Cluster assures that the implementation of the program will be a trigger for the competitiveness of the industry in the sector.
