Electric Vehicle Laboratory
In February 2024, the university launched its electric vehicle laboratory, which has the only battery simulator for electromobility in Mexico.
The space aims to foster collaboration with industry to provide hands-on learning opportunities and encourage innovation in battery technology, electric system management, charging infrastructure and the connection between mobility and sustainability.
Through this laboratory, the collaboration between academia and industry is promoted to generate practical learning.
The university authorities explained that it is also expected to promote battery technology, management of electrical systems, charging infrastructure and the link between sustainability and mobility.
For its development it was supported by the State Program for the Development of Technology and Innovation (Pedeti), said the Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero.
