Yutong Mexico and the Government of Guanajuato launched the first 100% electric foreign buses in the country, with the new energy “Yutong C11E”.
In this sense, Grupo Flecha Amarilla presented the two new Yutong electric buses for passenger transportation, with which they will cover the León-Silao-Guanajuato Unebus route, becoming the first Mexican company to venture into electromobility for inter-city transportation.
The objective is to significantly improve the travel experience of users and contribute to the advancement of electromobility in the state.

Unit Features
Yutong details on its website that the C11E electric buses have capacity for 40 passengers, offering autonomy with a single charge of up to 350 kilometers; in addition to integrating on board air conditioning system and USB ports.
Battery recharging will be done with photovoltaic cell systems placed in the bus terminals of Leon and Guanajuato.
“Today we celebrate a breakthrough towards a greener future with the presentation of the first 100% electric Yutong units of the company Flecha Amarilla,” said Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, Governor of the state.
“Their commitment to sustainability and innovation not only reflects the spirit of leadership of a proudly Guanajuato company, but also marks an important step towards reducing our carbon footprint,” highlighted the regional leader.
Along the same lines, Michael Ren, CEO of Yutong Bus Mexico, said that this technological innovation has the goal of improving the environment.

In October, “Latam Mobility: Mexico 2024” will be held at the Word Trade Center in Mexico City, at a key moment for the development and promotion of new technologies that make up the sustainable mobility environment.
