New ABB Electrification Services Unit Boosts Energy Transition in Colombia

The arrival of a new ABB Electrification Services unit in Colombia marks an important turning point on the road to transition.

Based in Bogota, the new operation will help customers optimize the performance of their existing electrical infrastructure to achieve greater productivity and meet desired sustainability goals.

Pedro Robredo, Senior Vice President of Electrification Services – Americas Region at ABB, noted that across Latin America, the energy landscape is undergoing a dynamic transformation.

“From renewable energy integration to digitalization, pressure is mounting on industrial facilities to improve efficiency and make the most of their existing assets,” he detailed.

Latam Mobility, the largest sustainable mobility community in Latin America, will once again arrive in Medellin for its 2024 meeting.
