The government of Paraguay, together with representatives of private companies and the Task Center for Electromobility, announced the second call for young people interested in training in electric mobility development in South Korea.
According to official media, the on-site training, aimed at engineers and technicians, lasts four months and is part of the Project for the establishment of the TASK Center for the Advancement of the Paraguayan Autoparts Industry and Electric Mobility Pilot Plan.
The main objective of the initiative is to establish a technology center in collaboration between Paraguay and South Korea to boost the automotive industry through innovation and sustainable development, with special emphasis on electric mobility.

Applications and Selection
The application process will be open until January 26 and will be carried out 100% online through www.mic.gov.py
A total of 40 scholarships, divided in batches of 10 beneficiaries, have been made available for young Paraguayans interested in this intensive training. The first group of graduates will return to the country at the end of November 2023.
After registration, a selection process will begin involving an evaluation of applicants from January 29 to February 9, 2024, followed by interviews between February 12 and 16, which will be conducted by the Paraguayan counterpart.
The 15 finalist profiles will be sent to the counterpart in Korea on February 20 for final validation by technicians from the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (Katech), between February 20 and 27, 2024.
